Social Media Club of North Jersey at the Newark Museum
One of the growing marketing tools in our organization is the use of social media. As newspaper space dwindles, we now rely more on social networks, focusing on viewers who have an interest in the Museum. We, of course, still work closely with the media, but as they have informed us, space is limited and there are many organizations vying for the same space.
Social media is an extension of our brand identity and is an engaging way to reach our core base followers. It’s a perfect opportunity to create a dialogue, to understand the views of our followers and to share information.
This coming Wednesday, October 27, from 12 pm to 1:30 pm the Newark
Museum will host the Social Media Club of North Jersey. Representatives from NJPAC, GlocallyNewark and the Newark Museum will be discussing how each respective company uses social media. This forum will be open for attendees to share ideas and discuss challenges and opportunities within the social media platform. The event will be held in Engelhard court, and guests are encouraged to bring laptops to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi.
This event is free with a Museum suggested admission of $10, and free for Newark Museum Members and Newark residents.
